Acne – What Is It Actually?
Acne is a disease of the skin and its medical name is seborrheic dermatitis. It is sometimes called Acne Vulgaris. Many people believe that it is normally the adolescent who is vulnerable, but that is definitely not true. Adults are also prone to this skin problem.
It is also very common, around 10% of the adult population will at some time or another experience this problem and for adolescents the figure can be as high as 85%.
Acne occurs when the sebaceous glands fail to function normally. In a healthy skin these glands release oil that rises through the pores onto the skin surface. This is what keeps your skin moist and well lubricated to provide protection from the environment. If the pores become clogged, then toxic oil is formed that cannot escape onto the skin. This trapped oil then causes a growth or pimple to form and this increases in size as more and more trapped oil tries to reach the surface of the skin.
The walls of the pores can burst under the skin and then white blood cells will move in to digest the collagen that surrounds the pores. This results in scarring of the face.
If the acne is treated before this stage is reached, you can prevent scarring. You should begin your acne clearing program as soon as you see the pimples or blackheads appear in the skin.
The toxic matter will contain dirt, bacteria, acid waste, excess sebum oil and dead skin. In order to clear acne, the correct approach is not just to use creams on the face. This will only treat the symptoms and has no effect of curing the cause of the problem.
It is very important to understand that the whole body has to be treated. The eruptions on the face are a clear indication that the normal process of the body is not working as it should. Acne can be caused by any under performing part of the body which can cause the blood to carry too much toxicity.
So how do you go about helping the body to return to a normal level of working?
You could go to see your doctor, who probably would prescribe creams, ointments or some drug. You could decide to go to the local pharmacy and ask for their advice. Perhaps a dermatologist might be your choice. All of these methods may or may not work depending on whether the recommended treatment includes ridding the body of the toxins that are causing the acne in the first place.
The only true and natural way is to begin a complete overhaul of the body and in order to do this, you will need the help of someone who has a complete understanding of how the body functions. You will need to be guided in the ways to rid the body of all the toxins and then how to keep the body in this enhanced state. It is no good getting rid of the toxins and then returning to whatever it was that caused them to develop in the first place.
The best person to understand the whole situation is one who has suffered from this disease and has actually been cured by his own research into the fundamental causes. He would be living proof that his system actually works. Acne No More is the result of his research.
