Moles and Warts – An Answer To The Problem

Most if not all of us will, at some point in our lives, develop moles on our skin and usually when we are fairly young although anyone at any age can get them. I don’t think I need to mention that given the choice, we would happily avoid having to put up with these things as, after all, how nice is it to have hideous blemishes on your face or back? The answer is not very, and unfortunately, it is pretty much unavoidable. However, just because we may get moles doesn’t mean we can’t get rid of them. As you probably are already aware of, there is a growing number of products that deal with awkward skin conditions ranging from creams to oils and all of them claim to do the trick as more people are getting tired of putting up with an age old problem.

The question is though, do these products actually fulfill their purposes, and even promises, in eradicating those horrible moles once and for all? The answer very much depends on the type of the product and under which brand name it is being sold. In other words, there is no real way of customers telling which treatment they buy is ultimately the one that is going to cure them completely. Some products claiming to have done just that have failed depending on the size and height of the customer, as well as the severity of the problem. Most skin creams are reliable in that they can safely make moles or warts disappear in the space of a week, but there are often still scars left on the skin that can take as long as a month to fade.

There is also of course the texture and sensitivity of ones’ skin. Some people may go for days on end trying a cream that has very little effect, while others may develop a nasty reaction to a product due to their sensitivity and that in turn may cause another problem. There are other factors as well associated with the problems customers face when selecting a product. Some of them, as I just mentioned, are diet related while others may be to do with the cost as not all treatments come cheaply.

There is however, a more user-friendly solution that has been tried and tested by a very determined skin specialist which has yielded excellent results. Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal is an e-book that can be purchased on the web by anyone and its author, Dr. Charles Davidson, has come up with some perfect recipes to treat these problems and permanently remove them.

Acne Treatments

As we all know there are a multitude of acne treatments available to us on the market today. Everything from our own personal hygiene regimen, over the counter gels and creams, right up to the latest laser technology. In order to best handle the condition some sufferers will use a combination of different acne treatments. In this article I want to give a brief overview of some of the more popular treatment options and how they can work for you.

It will seem obvious to most but a very effective acne treatment is a good personal hygiene routine. Regular washing can help eliminate the bacteria and oils that contribute to acne. You can help to prevent the spread of bacteria from one part of your body to another by washing your hands before touching any area affected by acne.

One of the most popular and widely used acne treatments are the topical gels and creams available from local stores and pharmacies. They contain an organic compound called Benzoyl Peroxide which works as a peeling agent increasing skin turnover and helping to clear pores. They are one of the more effective acne treatments when dealing with mild to moderate cases. There are potential side effects when using these creams as some users have reported experiencing dry irritated skin and redness around the area treated.

Many acne sufferers look to antibiotics as a solution when store bought creams and gels have failed. They are only available on prescription from a health care professional and come as both a topical cream or in pill form. Antibiotics applied as a cream look to kill bacteria found in blocked follicles, they can be effective in treating small areas but they may prove incapable of treating larger outbreaks. More severe cases can be treated with oral antibiotics, they work by reducing the bacteria population which in turn helps to reduce redness and inflammation. Oral antibiotics are usually only prescribed after topical treatments have been ruled out due to the potential side effects associated with them.

Initially used as a remedy for the scarring that acne can leave behind, lasers are now used as one of the newer acne treatments. Laser acne treatments work by looking to eliminate acne causing bacteria or by shrinking acne producing glands. Of the two methods many skin scare specialists believe tackling the oil producing glands is the best method to achieving acne free skin.

Of course these are just a few of the many acne treatments available to sufferers of the condition. Others available include topical retinoids, they normalize the life cycle of the skin cell thus preventing blockages in the pores. Hormonal treatments are used for cases of acne in some women. Anti-inflammatories are used to reduce swelling and redness and microdermabration treatments are used to help remove blackheads from within pores.

Treating Acne – A Natural Approach

One of the most common health problems affecting teenagers is acne. Acne is a skin lesion which is prevalent around the ages of puberty (8-12 in females, and 10-14 in males). Almost every one at one point or the other must have had contact with acne.
There are different kind of solutions for treating acne in the market. They could be in the form of creams, lotions, gels, or even pills. Most of them are chemicals which are intended to alter the normal physiology of our skin. Have you ever considered using natural methods to treat your acne instead of just dumping chemicals in your body?

No one really likes to have these annoying bumps on their face. But since acne or pimples come at a particular period of one’s life, there is really nothing we can do about its occurrence. We can however control its appearance and reduce the symptoms. A much better way to do this is to put an end to it naturally without torturing your skin with synthetic products. Some of the methods you can use to tackle acne are discussed below.

Diet and Exercise
Apart from doing anything external to the face, there is a way our diet affects our skin, especially in severe cases of acne (cystic acne). In situations such as this, one would need to follow a regulated diet in order to prevent further eruptions. Generally, it is best to avoid oily foods, especially fried foods. Also avoid ingestion of tobacco, caffeine, and carbonated drinks. What do you take instead? Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. As some people say, “one apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Drink plenty of water, particularly with honey and lemon.

Apart from diet, exercise is also important in controlling acne. Exercise has been found to help your skin breathe. It also aids in removing oil, dirt and toxins away from your skin. This therefore provides a natural way of cleansing and purifying the skin. Another benefit of exercise is that it reduces stress, a major cause of acne eruptions.

Skin Care
Apart from diet and exercise, specific routines on how to work on your skin in order to treat and prevent acne is as follows:

1. Touch not: Avoid touching your face too many times. This is because repeated touching and picking of pimples would only lead to more scarring, which you would not want. If you would not touch, then wash your face as many times as possible. Try and limit the use of synthetic agents, such as cosmetics (make up).

2. Honey: Research as shown the usefulness of honey in the management of many medical conditions, acne inclusive. Honey serves as an emollient and also as a natural moisturizer. It also has antibacterial properties. Just apply it for a few minutes to your face, then wash it away. This can be done just before a shower.

3. Increase the intake of essential vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E daily. You can also supplement your diet with zinc and chromium.

4. Apply Aloe-Vera paste to your face, especially directly on the pimples and the scars. This is one of the fastest and best ways to treat pimple scars naturally.
