What is Priligy?

Priligy is an oral drug that is prescribed to men who suffer from premature or rapid ejaculation. Priligy helps to prolong the ejaculation process in men during sex.

What are strengths of Priligy?

Priligy is available in two dosage strengths – 30 mg and 60 mg. Out of these two dosages; you should take only the recommended one, as and when needed. Priligy isn’t for day to day use. You can take the recommended dose with a glass of water about 1-3 hours prior to sexual intercourse. You shouldn’t take more than one dose of Priligy in 24 hours.

Medical experts consider Priligy as safe and effective treatment for premature ejaculation however; it’s not completely free from undesirable side effects. Before taking it for treating your premature ejaculation problem, you should learn about its precautions.

About premature ejaculation or PE

Premature ejaculation is one of the most frustrating sexual problems in men. It affects an estimated 30-40% of men population. In the UK, 1 out of every 4 men suffers from premature ejaculation leading to increased frustration levels among them.

Premature ejaculation is also known as rapid ejaculation. It is defined as the inability of men to prolong their ejaculation process during sex thus decreasing the satisfaction levels for both the partners.

Primarily, the causes of premature ejaculation in men are considered to be psychological in nature however, it’s not limited to that only, as some physical conditions such as urinary tract infection or prostate problems can also give rise to these problems. Whatever be the cause of your rapid ejaculation, you can now treat it very effectively with the help of Priligy, provided it suits you.

To check your suitability for Priligy, you have to do a consultation with a medical doctor or your GP who conducts your thorough check up and then, if found suitable can prescribe you a valid prescription, which allows you to buy Priligy from any local licensed pharmacy. Another way to check your suitability for Priligy is through an online consultation from the website of any licensed online clinic. An online consultation can save your time, energy and money. However, it can’t replace face-to-face consultation with a doctor or your GP.

Study: Obese clueless about their condition
This Seattle Post Intelligencer article reports on a University of North Carolina study that queried people as to whether they fell into the normal, overweight or obese category. The normal weight and overweight people generally correctly identified their body type just over 70 per cent of the time. However, those in the obese category got it right only 15% of the time. The article points out that among the consequences of obesity are heightened risk of heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and arthritis.

I guess it’s not that surprising that obese people are reluctant to categorize themselves thusly. It’s an ugly term fraught with negative connotations, and as the article also mentions the BMI calculations tend to be surprising tough—a 5 foot ten inch male is obese if he is over 208 pounds.

Still to the extent that obese people really are that totally lacking in self awareness, they are adding to the medical risk they already face. We all know that it is essential to recognize that a problem exists before one can correct it.

The article points out that BMI doesn’t work for the professional athlete which is absolutely true. Interestingly, waist hip ratios work on all physiques and are a better predictor of cardiac problems than BMI. Still, very few of the obese in the nation fall into the professional athlete category.

Hair Loss Herbs and Other Ways to Regain Hair

It is typical for male individuals to go through hair loss as they age, and sometimes this occurrence begins as early as the teenage years. Women also go through hair loss. Their hair can thin out and even baldness can occur. There are several causes of this problem. The good news is, there are hair loss herbs that can fight against hair loss.

Before you medicate, you should first familiarize yourself with the reasons why this occurs in the first place. Typical reasons for hair loss are usual variation, scalp inflammation, hormonal imbalances, particular drugs, local trauma and psychological factors. In reality, everybody occasionally loses hair. This is a usual variation, where the hair is just undergoing its natural cycle. It is also entirely normal to lose a quantity of hair from combing, brushing, toweling, shampooing and rubbing.

Many problems like eczema, seborrhea, psoriasis and infections lead to patches of hair loss with a red and crusty scalp. A variety of hormonal problems like too much (or too little) thyroid hormones, insulin and testosterone are also found to lead to hair loss.

Medications such as steroids, chemotherapy and some diuretics can decrease levels of testosterone and minimize body hair. Local trauma can easily result in hair loss. Examples are wearing tight hair bands, cornrows, scratching, compulsive pulling and tugging. Finally, psychological factors such as anxiety, stress and depression are surprisingly typical causes of falling hair.

Herbs have been known to treat a wide range of conditions. Herbs can possibly regain hair due to their powerful components. They are also known for their zero side effects. Many herbs have healthy compounds such as flavanoids, which can be obtained from grape seeds, apples, barley, blueberries, rosehips and green tea. Japanese researchers have discovered that flavanoids, which are antioxidants, neutralize free radicals that can result in inflammation and damage hair follicles.

Essential oils like rosemary rinse out and prevent the buildup of sebum that block follicles, therefore encouraging hair growth. Nettle is utilized to manage dandruff and improve the shine of hair. Biotin is found to support nails and hair. Fleuthero can assist in minimizing general stress.

There are many other natural ways to deal with thinning hair. Aside from using herbal remedies, try to reduce stress, as too much strains and pressure can result in hair loss. Massage your scalp with a natural product such as a natural hair thinning lotion. Get enough sleep, at least 8 hours everyday, so that you can encourage healthy hair reproduction. Avoid rinsing your hair with hot water, minimize the use of hair care products like shampoos or dyes that have sulphate, and stay away from ingredients like propecia.

If you want to use hair loss herbs to treat your condition, there are some good products available. Look for a natural product that is fast-acting, without the side effects. A good product will be able to put an end to this condition as well as strengthen the hair follicles so that they are able to grow back healthy hair. Highly recommended ingredients are magnesium, saw palmetto and biotin. These can obstruct the development of DHT, which retards the hair loss process, and encourage healthy hair growth.

Lemons for Asthma Attacks and Other Illnesses
Lemons, they are one of the best fruits to use if you are sick or have asthma. Learn why and how you need to use them if you have asthma

Most people shy away from lemons because they are sour. Or, they make lemon juice and then kill their beneficial effects by adding sugar. Well, here is what your are missing if you don't drink fresh natural lemon aid every morning.

For asthma, lemon juice is great because it,

It is antiseptic - kills germs that hide in your mucus
It destroys bad bacteria that lives in your mouth, stomach, and intestines
It helps to dissolve mucus so when you have a cold or cough you recover quicker. The combination of 8 oz of water and lemon greatly cuts into your thick mucus that builds up in your bronchial tubes.
Helps to cleanse your blood and clean blood makes your lung tisse healthier

Lemons are high in vitamin C and potassium. They also contain plenty of fiber and phytochemcials, which contain antioxidants many of which have not been studied.

Use only lemons that are yellow and don't have any signs of green. You can store lemons in a plastic bag in the refrigerator and they will last for up to 5-6 days. To use these lemons bring them out and let them come to room temperature.

If you have a lot of lemons, you can squeeze the juice and freeze them in ice trays for later use.

If you have acid reflux or ulcers use lemons with caution and use your common sense to decide how much juice to drink. With acid reflux or ulcers use DGL or Mastic gum to clear the H..pyloric bacteria.

Lemons also tend to thin the blood so if you are on drugs that thin the blood, avoid using a lot of lemon juice.

When you have asthma, you can use 3-4 lemons daily. You can use up to ten lemons per day without much problem when you are trying to resolve a health issue. What you can do for asthma is make a thermos drink where you squeeze 4-5 lemons into 32 oz or less of distilled water and drink this juice all day long. Just remember to rinse out your mouth with fresh water after you drink the lemon juice.

The Short Term Medical Plan Article #1 of Series Health Plan Options
Health insurance today is a mess. We need it but can we afford it? We have our car insured, why not the family? “I hope nothing happens to me so I won’t need to go to the hospital.” These are all notions we have as concerned people and parents. Healthcare is on the rise as well as premiums. COBRA is expensive but if you have health conditions it is necessary. Are you a little overweight or smoke? All of these are factors for getting or not getting health insurance. What can you do in the meantime while you think about it or lose the weight or quit smoking or maybe you are even between jobs?

The Plan:
A little known policy lingers out there you may or may not be aware of, and that is the Short Term Medical plan. The plan is self explanatory as it is set for a period of time. The plans that we service go from anywhere between 30 days all the way up to 360 days of coverage. That means that you can have coverage for a month or two or even six months up to a year, the choice is yours. Short term medical plans are temporary plans and are not meant to be permanent. Think about it this way in that you don’t have health insurance doesn’t mean you don’t or won’t have health problems. The short term plan is a way to get coverage for a temporary fixed amount of time.

Why Short Term Medical?

Short term medical can ease the pain of not having health insurance for different reasons. A popular reason why people use STM is because they are in-between jobs. The person had coverage here and is now unemployed, the insurance stays with the job, now they are without coverage. Maybe you are in a waiting period of 30-90 days but do not want to take the risk of not having any coverage at all. Waiting periods occur with group coverage and the employer basically wants to make sure you are worth it to offer medical coverage to.

When you have children that are reaching of age to where they come off your plan. Usually this is when the dependent is going off to college or graduating college. You want your dependents to have health insurance but don’t know what is offered in that state or maybe the health coverage does not travel well. The STM is a viable option for those in need and it is probably ranked number 2 in why the STM is used.

So many Americans are part time or temporarily employed as well as laid off and health coverage is not available to them. The STM is a way to get coverage fast and not have the burden of huge premiums lingering over their head. Remember the STM is for temporary coverage just like the person is temporarily unemployed, when you get on a job that offers coverage you just simply cancel.

COBRA is the alternative when you leave a job, get fired etc. but it can be expensive. If you have preexisting health problems, COBRA is probably your only alternative as you can roll that condition into an individual policy after 18 months of coverage. If you are a healthy individual, you don’t need to go on COBRA you could instead while looking for another job pick up a short term plan to get you through till your plan at your new job is available to you.

How it Works:
Typically the short term medical plan gives you the freedom of choosing any doctor or hospital and has a deductible for individual as well as the family. Once the deductible is met, then the plan kicks in up to a specified amount such as 2 million dollars. You will have an option of coinsurance benefits as well; this is the 80/20 split or 50/50 split. The coinsurance is limited to either the first $5000 or $10000 respectively depending on which plan is offered and with which company. After that is met, the plan should pay 100% of covered expenses. Pretty simple: you go to the hospital and pay the first $250 then depending on which plan you selected it will pay 80% of the next $5000 in charges which leaves you with $1000 and 100% after that. So if you had a whopping bill of $15000 of covered expenses your bill would be $1250!

Qualifications

The qualifications to apply for STM plans are limited. Typically anyone under 65 years of age and children under 19 or 25 if full time student qualify. There are limited questions with the application process, for example 7-9 questions to answer. Height and weight is not a factor in most plans, so if you are struggling with weight problems in the meantime you would qualify for short term medical plan. Be advised that these plans do not cover preexisting conditions and if one of them says they do, make sure you read it carefully. You can even just get your child covered maybe before they are eligible for your group plan or state plans.

To sum it all up the short term medical plan can be a significant tool for anyone to use. It can cover that gap in coverage for whatever reason is available to you. It is not an alternative to major medical coverage as it is only for temporary use, but when that coverage is not available to you this is an option for you. Many people do not know of the existence of these plans or are touted other MiniMed plans which can do more harm than good. Gulf Breeze Insurance Inc. a Florida health insurance provider, http://www.gulfbreezeinsurance.com , use this plan all the time to help people get through hard times and waiting periods. I believe the phrase goes “Something is better than nothing” and when you think your options have run out turn to the STM plan.

Green Tea and Cholesterol facts
A green and lush oasis in the middle of a scorching dessert. A cool breeze on a hot summer night. A bright light in the end of a cold and dark tunnel. Green tea and cholesterol.

For the millions and millions of people suffering from high cholesterol green tea may be that light. You can browse and search the Internet for topics on green tea and cholesterol and would come up with hundred of hits.

Cholesterol, triglycerides, the protein apoB in LDLs, are words dreaded by humans of the modern age. This new century is expected to become the century of medical miracles, the green tea, lowly as it may sound looks very promising as several researches have shown. This could be the decade of green tea and cholesterol.

More good news is it's not just green tea and cholesterol; it's also green tea and cancer. Several studies have shown that the antioxidants are present in green tea. The Journal of the National Cancer Institute published the results of an epidemiological study indicating that drinking green tea reduced the risk of esophageal cancer in Chinese men and women by nearly sixty percent. Another research done by the University of Purdue researchers recently concluded that a compound in green tea inhibits the growth of cancer cells. In another study by the University of Kansas determined that EGCG may explain why the rate of heart disease among Japanese men is quite low, even though approximately seventy-five percent are smokers.

And more good news! It's not just green tea and cholesterol; it's also green tea and high blood pressure. Habitually drinking 5 to 10 cups a day of green tea lowers high blood pressure.

For more that 4,000 years the Chinese have known about the medicinal benefits of green tea since using it to treat everything from headaches to depression. So it's not just green tea and cholesterol; it's also green tea and depression!

Drinking green also is reported to be helpful with rheumatoid arthritis, Cardiovascular disease, infection, and impaired immune function.

Green tea is rich in catechin polyphenols, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is a good anti-cancer element. Polyphenol limits the negative effects of smoking and a fatty diet.

There's more! It's not just green tea and cholesterol; it's also green tea and weight loss. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition published a report that found out that men who were given a combination of caffeine and green tea extract burned more calories than those given only caffeine.

How about green tea and tooth decay anyone? Its bacteria-destroying abilities kill the bacteria that cause dental decay. So it's not just green tea and cholesterol, it's also green tea and bacteria.

Why is it that it's green tea and cholesterol not oolong tea or black tea? As we all know there are 3 types of tea, green, oolong and black. All of these come from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. But why green? Green tea leaves are steamed, which prevents the EGCG compound from being oxidized while black and oolong tea leaves are made from dried or fermented leaves, which causes loss of EGCG.

We should have learned speaking mandarin or fukien a long time ago and got to know green tea and cholesterol lowering the Chinese way.

There is more to green tea and cholesterol, search the web and get to know more of the heath benefits you may get from green tea. Does anyone know how to say green tea in Chinese?

Breaking Into a Vegetable Juicing Diet

So you have your new juicer and are ready to make all the vegetable juicing recipes you can. Before you buy lots of different vegetables to juice, you need to know some basics that will help you break into a vegetable juicing diet.

You must integrate vegetable juice into your diet with baby steps. Juicing allows you to absorb more nutrients because the vegetable juice is already removed for the pulp for your intestines to take them in. However, not all vegetable juice can be digested that easily, especially the green leafy vegetable juice that is very rich. It is better to use vegetables that are easy to consume first, such as celery, zucchini, beets, carrots, and cucumbers.

Use recipes that are based on a combination of these. After a while, when there are no issues with digestion, slowly add in some dark greens like broccoli, lettuce and spinach. Eventually, you should have no problems with almost all vegetables.

It is not a good idea stick with the same few vegetable juicing recipes that you enjoy. Try out juicing recipes that include vegetables you may not like. Reduce the amount it calls for if you need to and use other fruits and vegetables you like to mask the taste. That way, you won't get too used to a narrow diet. Your body may have a difficult time adjusting to changes in your eating habits otherwise. You also insure that you are getting a many vitamins and minerals. I would suggest using your favorite juicing recipes every 3 days or so, and the other days to try new things.

Many people don't like to deal with the taste of vegetable juice because it is may be too rich in nutrients and too bitter. If it is bitter, then sweeten it a little! Add some carrots and beets. Alternatively, you can use apples, grapes and other fruits to give it an enjoyable taste. If it's too dense, dilute it with water.

Fish Oil benefits for Women
As any woman will testify, it's not easy being a woman; they are perhaps a mother or a grandmother, a career girl, or a soccer mom, and they are still not regarded as an equal among men. Possibly because they have more emotional strength and endurance, and smell much sweeter too, but what do I know. Anyway, despite the differences they may have compared to men, they still suffer from similar health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, depression, and cancer. How these health problems are handled is up to the patient.

One way to handle them, is to wait until you begin to suffer from anyone of the above conditions, or indeed another condition, and then seek medical treatment. Quite possibly something a man might opt to do, but perhaps not a choice a women would make if they had hindsight on their side.

And because you are reading this article, hindsight happens to be on your side. You could indeed opt for something that could provide protection from the above mentioned medical conditions, before they make their initial appearance. And, as you have probably guessed, taking fish oil happens to be a choice you could make. Specific health benefits of fish oil for women include reduced PMS and menopause symptoms and reduced risk of breast cancer. Something all women, I'm sure would appreciate, perhaps other halves might join them in that appreciation too!

Every single 'leading' cause of death for a woman has two things in common. These are of course that they're degenerative and preventable. Ranking, I feel, is immaterial, as I don't believe that winning the competition for most degenerative disease isn't exactly something to be proud of. There is however something you can do to remedy these preventable diseases, and that is get more omega 3 fatty acids into your diet.

Research continually affirms the power of these tiny, natural nutrients. It confirms, that if you increase your omega 3 intake, you can help to prevent heart disease, cancer, depression, diabetes, memory loss, Alzheimer's, PMS, dry skin, and much more.

So, with all these benefits of fish oil for women, would you really decide not to take them for your health?

Placenta Stem Cells Successfully Treats Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a chronic neurological disorder that produces symptoms such as confusion, decreased dexterity, insomnia, lack of motor coordination, memory loss, shaking, stiff muscles, and tremors. Stem cells are an undifferentiated group of cells, which, depending on their surrounding conditions, are capable of developing into other types of cells such as liver cells, kidney cells, brain cells, or any of the other 260 different types of cells that make up the human body.

When Dr. Mehmet Oz appeared on Oprah Winfrey's show in March 2009, he showed a section of the human brain where lines are not present in a person who has Parkinson's disease. He believes that stem cells could be placed in that area to regenerate the damaged brain. He predicted that the use of stem cells to treat Parkinson's disease would begin in about eight years. What he obviously does not realize is that a clinic in Mexico has been using placental stem cells derived from placenta (afterbirth) to successfully treat Parkinson's for 18 years! That's about how long actor Michael J. Fox (known in the early '80s as Alex P. Keaton on the hit show Family Ties) has been living with the illness.

Since Mr. Fox is an advocate for stem cell treatment, it surprises me that he hasn't taken advantage of treatments offered in other countries. Maybe he doesn't know the treatment is available. But it is, and ISCI founder Rita Alexander is a first-hand witness of the results seen in patients who have been treated for cancer, cerebral palsy, dermatomyositis, diabetes, hepatitis C, HIV, immune deficiency, kidney disorders, multiple sclerosis, migraines, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's, retinitis pigmentosa, rheumatoid arthritis, spina bifida, and stroke. Rita has personally received several treatments to relieve the debilitating effect of rheumatoid arthritis.

James Devlin is a resident of Hawaii, but his paradise became a nightmare 15 years ago when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Unwilling to accept the reality of continual mental and physical decline, he sought answers around the world to stop the disease from taking over his brain and his life. His symptoms were the standard Parkinson's package including stiff muscles, decreased dexterity and coordination, insomnia, memory loss, confusion, and tremors in his arms which made it difficult for him to feed himself. Normal daily activities such as dressing, eating, and writing became increasingly challenging. James was prescribed a long list of medications to manage the increasing number of symptoms. Two and a half years ago, he found the road to recovery from PD at the International Stem Cell Institute (ISCI).

When Rita first met Mr. Devlin, he was very stiff and rigid, battling constant tremors as he made his way through the airport. When he returned to the clinic six months after his first placental stem cell treatment, his body was relaxed, he walked with ease, the excessive tremors were gone, and a big smile replaced the vacant facial expression he had just a few months before. After several additional stem cell treatments, James Devlin has been able to eliminate all Parkinson's medication and spends his days surfing in paradise. At 67 years old, he enjoys a 75 percent recovery.

Unfortunately, not everyone is physically and financially able to travel to Mexico. That is why Rita Alexander started ISCI in April 2008. She wishes many more people who are suffering with Parkinson's disease knew there were stem cell treatments that could change the course of their lives. ISCI assists with patient education, pre- and post-treatment support, travel logistics, and financial matters regarding treatment. Her goal is to help people access treatment that is already available and to bring the treatment to the U.S.

For more information about ISCI or to arrange a consultation or schedule an appointment, please visit http://www.iStemCelli.com or contactRita Alexander, Executive Director at International Stem Cell Institute, at 800-609-7795.
